Within the framework of the European HORIZON 2020 Factories of the Future program, the project “Smart and adaptive interfaces for INCLUSIVE work environment”, whose acronym is INCLUSIVE, coordinated by Prof. Cesare Fantuzzi of the Department of Sciences and Method Engineering of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, has been funded. The project, which started in October 2016 and has a funded duration of 36 months, aims to bridge the gap between the complexity of automatic machines used in the industrial environment and the user's capabilities through the design and development of innovative and intelligent human-machine interfaces that adapt to the worker's capabilities and flexibility needs, compensating for their limitations (due, for example, to age or inexperience) and exploiting their experience.
