The Erasmus+ for Traineeships program aims to encourage the mobility of students and future graduates by allowing them to spend a period of traineeship (of a minimum duration of 2 months) with an institution/company in one of the countries participating in the Program.

Start and end dates must be agreed in advance with the host company and the International Relations and Student Mobility Office.

In the Erasmus+ program, each individual will be able to carry out mobility abroad for Study or Traineeship more than once. Each student will be allowed a maximum of 12 months of mobility per study cycle.

Procedure for participation in the Erasmus Traineeship call for applications:

  • Call for Applications will be published by the International Relations Office on the “Announcements and Competitions” page reserved for students;
  • The students should find the host institution on their own, in order to obtain appropriate letter of acceptance, or choice among the internship offers that the International Relations Office and Student Mobility sends to the winners of the Call for Applications. The Department offers additional internship abroad projects, listed in the Table below. Students can contact the reference person listed.
  •  The Departmental International Committee is in charge of evaluating the applications and creating a ranking based on the following parameters: motivation and goals; previous experience abroad; feasibility analysis of professional mobility project if already defined; university career/curriculum vitae;
  • ranking will be published HERE. Students receive an email informing them about the publications.
  • Acceptance of the grant by sending an email to studentmobility@unimore.it by the deadline specified when the rankings are published.

 

BEFORE DEPARTURE FULFILLMENTS:

- Signing of the Traineeship Mobility Agreement and Learning Agreement For Traineeship prior to departure, according to the instructions that will be provided by the Office of International Relations and Student Mobility. Detailed info on filling it out is available at https://moodle.unimore.it/  "international mobility" section

- signing of the Internship Training Project (form available at https://moodle.unimore.it/ "international mobility" section) signed by a scientific tutor (lecturer chosen by the student based on the activities he/she is going to do in the internship)

The documents should be sent by e-mail to the Departmental Mobility Administrative Contact, who will check the documents and ask the Delegate for Internationalization to sign the Learning Agreement.

FULFILLMENTS UPON RETURN:

- delivery to the departmental teaching secretary of the “Credit Acknowledgement Form - Internship Abroad ‘ signed by the tutor teacher, the ’statement of hours” signed by the company tutor, and the “Traineeship Certificate” (section to be completed after the mobility of the Learning Agreement For Traineeship) certifying that the internship has been completed signed by the company/host institution. - Approval in the Department Council

- Verbalization of the activities on the students' booklet by the Students's secretary. Students can view the approval at www.dismi.unimore.it in the restricted area
