DISMI is based at the S.Lazzaro Campus on Via Amendola 2 in Reggio Emilia, in the three Pavilions: Buccola-Bisi, Morselli and Tamburini.
The Department is easily reached:
Hall opening hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
- BY BUS: from the center of Reggio Emilia (near the train station) by ACT line 2 or line 8 (direction Rubiera or Via Curie);
BY CAR: from the A1 highway tollbooth take the ring road to Modena as far as Via Emilia, exit on the right reentering towards Reggio for 1.5 kilometers meeting Campus S. Lazzaro on the right;
BY TRAIN: Reggio Emilia is on the Milan-Bologna route and is reached from Bologna and Parma by hourly trains and from Milan by bi-hourly trains. From the FFSS station, Campus S. Lazzaro can be reached by cab in 5 minutes, by bus line 2 or 8 - bus stop Ca' Bianca at 300 meters away on Via Emilia, by the local FER Reggio Emilia-Guastalla railway line - Reggio Emilia S.Lazzaro stop inside the Campus or on foot in 25-30 minutes walking along Via Emilia towards Modena;
BY PLANE: the closest airports to the city of Reggio Emilia are those of Parma, Bologna and Milan.

Opening on March 16, 2024 and located within the Reggio Emilia Innovation Park, it will house Degree Courses with a predominantly Digital connotation and-in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment-will be able to accommodate about 250 DISMI Students.
Thanks to a strong commitment from the University, and the support of the Ministry of the University and the Emilia Romagna Region, construction work will begin in June 2024 on a new Teaching Pavilion (for approximately 700 additional seats) and new Heavy and medium-light searches in the S. Lazzaro area, which will occupy a total area of approximately 2000 m2.
