The Department Board: 

• Assists the Director with preparatory, coordinating, and decision-making functions within the limits of the delegation granted to it; 
• Works on specific issues assigned from time to time by the Department Council;
• Develops proposals and makes decisions within the limits specified by the Department Council.

The DISMI board has not currently received specific delegations from the Department.
