According to the Law 270/2004, in order to access Master's degree courses, it is compulsory to apply for an initial assessment of Bachelor career before enrolling.

The assessment is carried out by submitting an application at www.esse3.unimore.it within the deadlines indicated in the admission notice.

The initial assessment application is compulsory for everyone and you cannot enrol without having submitted it and received the result.

- Those who have never been UNIMORE students must first register on the site;

- Those who have already been a UNIMORE student must use the credentials assigned in their previous career. If they are lost, they can request them from webhelp@unimore.it.

Once in possession of the credentials, access the reserved area on Esse3, from the menu on the left select ‘Student Area - Assessments and Tests’ and proceed to fill in the application.

You can download the guide for the ‘Initial Assessment for Open Access Master's Degree Courses’ application.

  • For those who have obtained their degree at UNIMORE, it will not be necessary to attach the data relative to the degree obtained, but it will however be possible to supplement the information with any additional documentation that you intend to use for admission purposes (e.g. language and IT certifications, internships or any other qualifications such as university masters, specialisation courses, etc.).

  • For those who have obtained their degree at another university, in order to be evaluated, they must enclose:
  1. self-certification of the degree with a list of the exams taken and the relative grades, credits and Scientific Disciplinary Sectors or, for those who are in the process of obtaining the degree, of the course of study
  2. autocertification regarding any other qualifications that you intend to use for admission purposes (e.g. internships, university masters, postgraduate courses, etc.).
  3. any copies of international language certificates attesting the level achieved or self-certification of the same.

For evaluation purposes, you must attach:

  1. Certificate of the study qualification obtained and the degree mark; students who have not yet obtained the qualification must state the expected awarding date;
  2. List of the exams passed reporting the date, the score obtained and the duration of the teaching programme, in Italian or English;
  3. List of any exams still to be taken
  4. Certificate reporting the maximum degree score assigned by the University awarding the qualification;
  5. Other skills acquired useful for assessment (e.g. computer skills, language skills, work experience, etc.).

In this evaluation phase, students can self-certify the required data. The original documentation is essential, however, to complete the registration.

- To be admitted to the DISMI Master's Degree Courses it is necessary to have obtained a Bachelor's degree or at least a three-year degree with a minimum mark of 80/110.
