The fourth industrial revolution, called Industry 4.0, represents the process of achieving fully automated and interconnected industrial production processes. Its full implementation requires highly specialized technicians with high-profile skills in the disciplines of mechanics, electronics, controls, information technology, and their integration.
This interconnectedness is evident in products but also in processes and therefore requires the training of new professional figures who can provide support in corporate environments, but also for the studies of professional bodies that provide services and advice to all players in the production system, from private companies to public administrations that must interact with the productive world of the fourth industrial revolution.
The professionally oriented Bachelor's Degree Course in Technologies for Intelligent Industry aims to train technical graduates with a strong professional orientation, experts in activities such as design, implementation and management of technologies characterizing Industry 4.0. These figures are increasingly in demand by professional orders and professions.
The course of study allows qualification to the specialization areas of “Mechanics and Energy Efficiency” and “Electrical Plant Engineering and Automation” of the Register of Graduate Industrial Experts.
