The research activity of the group focuses on the study of thermal and fluid transport phenomena and their applications in energy systems, industrial processes, and the built environment. The group combines advanced modeling, numerical simulation, experimental activities, and optimization techniques to support the analysis, design, and operation of complex systems, with particular attention to energy efficiency, safety, and reliability. The expertise developed finds application in a wide range of fields, including energy and industrial systems, ventilation and safety, sustainable buildings, and biomedical applications.
