GENERAL SERVICES AREA

Main activities:

  • Coordinate and monitor the maintenance interventions on the spaces and equipment under Departmental responsibility;
  • Plan and organize the services and use of the spaces and equipment under Departmental competence by users (e.g. teachers, researchers, students, doctoral students, etc. ) for carrying out teaching activities;
  • Ensuring coordination with the competent units or roles in the University for aspects related to maintenance, safety and prevention in the workplace under Departmental responsibility;
  • Supervising the correct carrying out of activities by users in compliance with the operating regulations of the laboratories and structures of Departmental competence; ensuring the updating and compliance with safety standards;
  • Collaborating in the development and application of the Departmental protection and prevention plan.

 

 

TECHNICAL-IT AREA

Personnel: Alberto Sirotti, Alberto Venturi

 

Main activities:

  • manage the updating (hardware and software) of the instrumental equipment of the laboratories of departmental competence with a view to integrating services;
  • provide assistance in resolving the most common connectivity and operational problems relating to the Department's IT equipment and teaching platforms (Moodle , Teams);
  • plan and implement the relevant updates of the IT infrastructure and data network for the carrying out of teaching, research and local service activities;
  • plan and implement the updates of the Department website;
  • supervise the correct carrying out of the activities by users in compliance with the operating regulations of the laboratories and structures of departmental competence;
  • managing the qualifications of external personnel and enabling access to IT services; collaborating in the needs planning phase;
  • ensuring the design phase and the execution of the purchase contract (e.g.: search for suppliers, request for quotes, technical opinions on orders, verification of regular and correct execution); collaborate with the Administrative Services in the awarding phase (e.g.: verification of adequacy of the offer);
  • manage and plan waste disposal activities.
